BOLEYN & TELESTO CANE CORSO ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE

Boleyn's Prima Zukra

Chiaro e Tondo's Viggo

Boleyn and Telesto Cane Corso are very pleased to announce their first litter of 2010.

A litter based on history, wonderful temperaments and outstanding dogs. Boleyn's Primo Zukra is one of two females we kept back from our Carlo x Amelia litter. Zukie's pedigree reads like a who's who's of the greats and only three generations contain dogs such as Birillo and Ettore. Go back six generations and there you will find both Basir and Bulan, two very important dogs in the breed underpinning the race of the Cane Corso, that's on her Cerberus side. Her Dyrium side contains Yurak, Cleta, Naomi, Cleta and of course Asia. At three years old this is her first litter. Carlo has been the foundation dog for the very successful Telesto breeding program and is an outstanding male who consistently throws solid sound temperament and very low hip scores.

Viggo is the first ever Corso imported to Boleyn a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, when Boleyn was not even a glint in my eye. Viggo showed me the way, he stood up for everything that was true and pure in this breed, I don't think there is a dog like him, in all my years I certainly have not come close to one - there are no words to describe this dog, but once you meet you him you will exactly what I mean.

Both parents are great examples of the breed. One is more traditional that the other, but each brings a lot to the table, including hip health as both dogs are scored under the BVA scheme. At 6 years old this is Viggo's first litter; I finally listened to every person that has come through Boleyn.s doors, all who leave saying, "I want a Viggo..."

Zukie gave birth to 10 wonderful healthy strong puppies, 3 boys and 7 girls, 2 pups will be retained back into the ever growing stable of Telesto/Boleyn kennels, who over the years have always agreed on a common approach to this breed. It.s not often two kennels can work so closely but it.s quite simple - we are in this breed FOR the breed. With nearly 20 years combined experience both kennels have a wealth of advice for their new owners.

We were both trilled at the results of our previous kennel collaboration. Naddy, Zukie's sister, gave us a really breathtaking litter of 8 puppies, 3 of which were retained in the Telesto/Boleyn breeding program. They more than exceeded our expectations, in more ways than one.

Every Telesto/Boleyn pup sold will come with an strictly enforced non-breeding contract. Both kennels are very active in the rescue and re-homing of UK dogs outside of our own kennels; we both foster, rehabilitate and re-home dogs from all over the country under the banner of the British Cane Corso Society. We strongly believe that if breeders took back their dogs when owners circumstances change, rescue centres would not be used as the first resort when the going gets tough. We are not interested in dramatically increasing numbers of the breed in the UK, our matings are carried out to move our own kennels forward and we believe that breeding should be carried out by people with deep knowledge of the breed to enable them to guide their owners should any problems arise.

If breeding the Corso is on your wish list, a Telesto/Boleyn puppy is not for you.

At 4 weeks old new potential owners will be invited to Boleyn where they will be able to meet many dogs from the pedigrees of these dogs, along with mom and dad there will be aunties, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Each pup will be socialised very well in its early stages. Telesto/Boleyn knows and understand the importance of heavy early stage exposure, they will come with their first injection, 4 weeks insurance, microchip, British Cane Corso Society registration, extensive puppy pack and terms of understanding.
