Discover the Corso and Volpino Italiano at Boleyn 2012!

Due to the high demand and ever greater success of the Boleyn open days during 2011 we will be continuing them through 2012 to allow people who are interested in the breed a greater understanding and foundation of this complex breed, before embarking on a lifetime commitment of 10+ years.

During the course of the day you can meet many Boleyn owners of past, Boleyn's breeding foundation dogs and lots of Boleyn productions. This year it is my honour to announce that Kenny James from www.cane9corso.com will also be in attendance at these open days with his outstanding examples of the breed, demonstrating new depths of the history of this ancient Molosser. If you feel the Cane Corso is too much of a prospect for your family, we will also be opening our doors to lovers of our Little Fox, the Volpino Italiano, the companion of the Corso and a breed that both myself and Mr James are very passionate about, together we have an outstanding breeding program of the traditional variety here in the UK.

We will be training with the Boleyn/Contado dogs, walking them and learning both the harsh realities and the amazing joys of owning such a dog. I will also go through all the health implications with this breed and the temperament issues my owners have faced throughout the years, something that is now at the forefront of the Boleyn owner education program. It has become apparent more so than ever before that this is a breed that needs understanding before breeding, and deep commitment whilst rearing to achieve a stable, all-round dog.

It will be a social event, with lunch provided and I hope you will walk away with a very deep understanding of the breed and its current situation in the UK. These days are mainly to educate people on who Boleyn is and also what to expect when owning a Corso. Some people in attendance may not be prospective Boleyn owners as they may not meet my new owner requirements, but those people are still more than welcome to come and learn more about the breed.
If you're interested in attending one of these Cane Corso educational days at Boleyn, please send me a detailed email, putting in as much information as yourself as possible. We can have a few chats on the phone and I will let you know the date of the next Boleyn Open day. There will be three open days; March/April, June/July, September/October.

I will cap attendees at 10 families for each day otherwise you will not get as much out of the day as I need you to.

I look forward to meeting you all this year and spreading the Corso lurve far and wide.
