Vanny, vanny as some would say fanny - what a fairytale story we have that surrounds her coming to Boleyn.
Christmas 2006 saw Marc and I spending Christmas at Fosso Corno with Sergio, Alberto and this magnificent formentino Cane Corso. Man I fell hard, so so head over heels in love with her, her expression, body, character - the way she would endlessly gnaw at your hand while you were trying to eat Christmas dinner. She grew into such a beauty and I would see her often and each time I did she would just get better. I remember the day I received some new pics of her, she was so beautiful I nearly fell from my chair. To cut a long story short she became available for me only and I jumped at the chance. As my breeding program was gobbling up any money Marc and I could make I decided that I would seek co-owners for her. Not just any co-owners, owners of one of my first born and two people who had showed me unprecedented support in my breeding program and a great friendship.
Vanny came to England the Spring of 2008 and is everything and more we could have asked for, her beauty is unquestionable her character very outgoing and playful. She is full of spirit, full of fun and is a very very happy girl. She really is one in a million and has a pedigree that fills a missing part of very important historic Cane Corsos into the Boleyn breeding program.
My heart skips a beat when I think about the wonders she could produce and in 2009 she will be doing just that.
